ADHD Symptoms
How do you know if you child has ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder)? Most parents think that it is normal for kids to run around the house, scream, climb on furnitures and break every toy they have after a few minutes of playing with them. But how can we know if our kids are behaving like kids or they have ADHD symptoms?
Kids who have difficulty paying attention that gets in the way of their schoolwork may have ADHD. They cannot stay at a task for long. They seem to never listen and they find it hard to follow instructions. They also gets easily distracted. They find it hard to focus. When your kids have these symptoms, they fall in the inattentive kind of ADHD children.
Children who cannot stay in one place or remain seated and are very active may fall on the hyperactive kind of ADHD kids. They are very talkative and they answer questions impulsively. They also can’t wait in line and they always run or climb.
If you have a child who exhibit at least 3 of these ADHD symptoms, you should immediately seek the help of doctors. Although the causes of ADHD are not yet known, doctors can help you manage your children and help you with your children so that they can enjoy normal lives.
